Yancy Shepard Obituary Kansas City, Missouri, Yancy Shepard Has Died

Yancy Shepard Obituary, Death Cause – During this sad time, the family and friends of Yancy Shepard would greatly appreciate it if you would keep them in your thoughts and prayers. This past week, Yancy disappeared in a way that was completely unexpected. Yancy was a talented racer, motor builder, and friend to a large number of people. He was known for his generosity. Everyone will grieve his passing in their own unique ways.

Yancy’s favorite pastime, though, was hiking. His grandson Carson had the best “Papa” in the world, and there was nothing that made him happier than doting on him and spoiling him by going on trips with him, supporting him at his athletic competitions, and exercising alongside him. He never lost his enthusiasm for exploring novel and intriguing experiences. He was kind and sympathetic by nature, and he never missed an opportunity to help people, animals, or other creatures, whether they were wild or domestic.

He had a great spot in his heart for the four rescued animals that lived with the family. In addition to his own biological father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Kathryn Horton Childers, his paternal grandparents Ersel and Pauline Hamner Shepherd, and an infant sister named Andrea Lane Shepherd.  Yancy treasured his loved ones and looked forward to spending time with them in the “Great Outdoors.” He participated in a number of outdoor activities with his loved ones, some of which included fishing, hunting, dirt biking, canoeing, snow shoeing, and hiking.
