Michael Colyer Obituary, Death Cause – Former trainee Michael Colyer will be fondly remembered by his many skiing friends, who will be shocked to learn of his loss when they hear the news. Mikey, who was born in 1989, will always and indefinitely have a unique and special place in our hearts. Because he was a modest young man with a pleasant disposition who enjoyed spending time with his friends and competing in ski races, he was pretty simple to get along with.
This ancient picture from the BSA demonstrates that Mikey’s smile had the power to light any setting it was in, and this picture was taken back in the 1980s. On behalf of everyone here, we would like to offer our deepest condolences to Michael’s wife Emma, as well as to his sisters Nicola and Laura, as well as to his parents Brian and Denise, on the tragic loss that they have all endured.
Denise sent us the following note, which read, “With the heaviest of hearts, we are deeply saddened to tell you that Michael James Colyer passed away on Thursday, April 6th, at the age of 33.” We are deeply grieved to inform you of Michael’s passing. Michael has been battling a rare kind of cancer with tremendous fortitude over the course of the past year. He died away peacefully and with his family by his side. He had no pain in his final moments.
This made it quite simple for anyone to get along with him. Mike overcame a number of challenges on his way to becoming a young racer of national quality in the United Kingdom. One of these challenges was Crohn’s disease, however the specifics of his path were not widely known by anyone outside of Mike’s immediate circle of family and friends. A courageous young man who persevered through life’s countless difficulties without whining and while keeping an optimistic attitude on the situation.
