Joseph Sorbello Obituary, Death Cause – It has been determined that Joseph Sorbello has passed away. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Eleanor (Coe) Sorbello of Liverpool, his children; Paul (Trisha) Sorbello of Solvay, James (Nancy) Sorbello of Boomer, NC, Diane Sorbello (Bruce Robinson)of Liverpool, four grandchildren, Jacob Sorbello, Emilee Sorbello (Kyle) Huff and Joseph and Anthony Benedetto, three great grandsons, Cody, Caison and Camden, several nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Sandy. Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Baldwinsville will serve as the location for the Rite of Committal as well as the funeral ceremonies for the individual who passed away.

In memory of Joseph, we are writing to ask that you give some thought and prayer to the possibility of making a donation to the Honor Flight of Syracuse. Joe did an outstanding job representing his country while he was enlisted in the United States Air Force during the war in Korea. After completing his obligation in the military forces, he went on to pursue a career in the medical field by beginning work as a medical assistant at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Syracuse.

He was employed in the surgical department. After that, Joe started his career as a salesman in the Syracuse region. Just before he retired, he worked for Bresee Chevrolet in Liverpool, which was where he had concluded his career before retiring. Joe was a passionate runner who was a member of the Syracuse Chargers Track Club. He ran for the Syracuse Chargers. Joe was a member of this club, which competed in a number of marathons, and he was one of its participants.
