Joe Phillips Obituary, Death Cause – Joseph Phillips, who had spent his whole life in Rochester and had just turned 83 years old when he passed away on October 1, 2021, had spent his entire life in the city. Honorable husband of Frances Phillips, devoted father of Kathy Phillips, Sandra Phillips, and Joyce Phillips, treasured grandfather of Tyler Derikx, and devoted brother of Pete Phillips (wife Augusta), Phil Phillips (wife Linda), and Nick Phillips. (wife Laurie). Additionally, she leaves behind a sizeable number of nieces and nephews who will carry on her family name.
Between the years of 1958 and 1961, he was an active member of the United States Navy. Between the years 1958 and 1961, he served in that capacity. After graduating with a degree in finance from the University of Michigan, he obtained a well-paying employment as a financial analyst with Chrysler and stayed there for several years.
