The driver of the Chevrolet Impala came to a halt at a red light as they were traveling in the lane that is furthest to the right of the lanes that are used for northbound traffic. Swift, who was on a Yamaha motorcycle at the time, traveled southbound on Broad Street.
A motorcycle who was engaged in a collision that took place in Meriden on Monday evening was unfortunately taken from this world as a result of the accident. It was discovered that the rider was a local citizen of Wallingford named Jeffrey Swift, who is currently 30 years old. The automobile had to be removed from Swift because it was a safety concern for the Meriden Fire Department. It was determined by the authorities that there was nothing that could be done to save his life, and he was declared dead at the scene of the incident.
