Jacob Walton Obituary, Jacob Walton Has Passed Away

Jacob Walton Obituary, Death Cause – Jacob R. Walton passed away without incident on April 12, 2023, when he was at ease in the surroundings of his own house. Jake entered this world on March 16, 1978, in the county of Warren. He was born there. He was educated at Columbus Elementary School and Corry Area High School, all of which are located in the city of Corry, where he also lived. He drove tow trucks and commercial trucks during his career as a driver, which spanned a significant amount of time.

Both of his maternal grandparents, Manley and Shirley Moore, as well as both of his paternal grandparents, Milo and Margaret Walton, went away before he was born. He is survived by his children, Kamrynn Walton, Xzavier Cressley, and Allison Cressley; his parents, Herbert Walton (Corry) and Sherrie and Jan Oviatt (Bear Lake); and his siblings, Dawn Walton (Wilmington, N.C.), Jeremy Walton (Broken Bow, Neb.), DeAnna [Daniel] Campisano (Union City), Joseph [Jessica] Walton (Corry), Tim Oviatt (Titusville), Steven Oviatt (Corry) and Kimberley Oviatt (Youngsville); and many nieces and nephews who loved him.

Jake, the family historian, was someone who found great joy in conducting genealogical research. He was an incredible chef who took great pride in preparing delectable meals for the people he held dearest, including his family and friends. Because of his kind and sympathetic character, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to a friend who was in need of assistance, even if it meant taking in a stray cat.

In the latter part of this month, there will be a get-together to celebrate his life as well as his enduring legacy. In memory of Jake, his family respectfully requests that you give some thought to making a monetary donation to a local animal shelter. Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.
