O Lord, may you bestow upon them the serenity that is beyond all understanding, and may the great splendor of your light shine brightly upon them for the duration of eternity; both of these things I pray for in your name.
As a result of the passing of fellow alumnus Jack Kraak from the Class of 2021, as well as the passing of alumni parent Mr. Steve Tonkinson, who was the father of Aidan Tonkinson ’21, we are in a state of melancholy. Jack Kraak was also the father of Aidan Tonkinson, who graduated in the Class of 2021. We have suffered the loss of loved ones as a direct result of each of these occurrences, and as a result, we are grieving.
The current state of depression that we are experiencing may be traced back to each of these unlucky situations in very specific ways. During this difficult time, the Kraak and Tonkinson families are in our thoughts and prayers as we continue to offer our support. Our hearts go out to them for the loss that they have experienced. Our hearts were immediately overwhelmed with sadness upon learning of the passing of your loved ones as we heard the news.
