Greg Smeenk Obituary, Death Cause – Since I found out that Greg had passed away, I have been overcome with an overwhelming sense of loss and grief. I’ve known the Smeenk family ever since we were in the same preschool class together, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Greg was one of the children that did their absolute best to behave himself and do what was expected of him.
They are ever present in my thoughts, and I make it a point to pray for them on a regular basis. The news that the father of Trisha Smeenk, a former student in our MBHSS class of 2011, has passed away has caused all of us to be in a state of great grief. Trisha Smeenk graduated from our school in 2011. Greg Smeenk died on April 9, 2023. Among those who continue to carry on his legacy are his wife, Sherry.
His daughter Trisha Smeenk Shields, his son Jed, his daughter Jenna Smeenk, his son-in-law Dustin, and his granddaughter Avery. Jed, the man’s son, is also among the living at the present time. The Smeenks have a long history of interest in the Rodeo Queen community, and for a number of years, they have been a sponsor of the MBHSS Pageant. The Smeenks also have a long history of involvement in the Rodeo Queen community.
In this trying time, we want them to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers and that we are thinking about them. There is a delay in the provision of the services that are now being offered. I am sorry for the loss that you have had to go through, and please accept my most sincere condolences. He was such an incredible representation of the human race as a whole.
