Eric Dranoff Obituary, Death Cause – We are unable to find the words to express how devastated I am to share the news that my dearly loved husband, Eric Dranoff, has passed away. His pancreatic cancer had advanced to a stage 4 when he died away on April 23. If you are shocked by this information, believe me when I say that I, along with the rest of our family and our extended family, am also in shock.
He got frail, had problems walking, and lost his appetite as a result of the beast that inhabited PC, which was murdering him from every conceivable direction. Because the disease had progressed to the lining of his stomach, the prognosis was not very good. We are sharing all of this information with you because I want to raise awareness about this dreadful, dreadful disease that literally took the life of my spouse and left my four children without a father.
We rushed to the emergency room at the end of February, and by the time the night was over, we had learned that he had a significant tumor on his pancreas. We were devastated. It just so happened that he was experiencing stage 4 symptoms at the time. It made us cry. After that, we did all in our power to assist him in any way we could. We were able to locate the most qualified oncologist in New York City for him, and he immediately began a course of chemotherapy.
At the end of January, Eric was concerned that he might be suffering from food poisoning because he did not feel like himself. Following the examination, we suspected that he was suffering from an ulcer as well as problems with his esophagus. But he continued growing worse. During the month of February, he had the impression that he was feeling better; however, many shifts were occurring rapidly, and it became clear that he had been given an incorrect diagnosis and that something was really wrong.
