Emma Bohme Obituary, Death Cause – Emma Bohme, who was 91 years old when she passed away on April 4, 2023 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital from causes unrelated to her medical condition, would be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was born in Poland, but she migrated to Canada with her family when she was a young child in the early 1950s. Soon after that, mom tied the knot with our grandfather, Fred, and the two of them shared 57 glorious years of marriage till he passed away ten years ago.
She was an impeccable housekeeper, and she took a great deal of satisfaction in that fact. She had a good time helping out at their shop in Kimberley, which had been in the family for thirty years: The Black Forest Haus of Gifts. The most memorable and joyful experiences of her life were times spent with her family at Christmas, her daily power walks, baking and cooking, trips on vacation with her father, music and song, and the floral displays she created on her patio each summer.
Our mother was a thoughtful, compassionate, altruistic, and generous lady who, throughout her life, prioritized the requirements of her family before her personal need. She was a courageous, strong, and dignified woman who overcame numerous obstacles and setbacks in her life. She was a powerful woman. She served as a model for all of us to follow, and her philosophy of “never giving up” and “accepting life as it is” will be revered and cherished for all of eternity.
Her children Erica (John), Linda (Dan), and Sylvia (Perry), as well as her daughter-in-law Dale, her sister Rennie and brother-in-law Dave, and a large number of nieces and nephews, will miss her greatly. In addition, there are grandchildren named Tyson (Robynn), Jessica, Katie, Jordan, Brenda, Amber, Jade, and Hudson. She is no longer suffering and has been reunitd with her husband Fred, daughter Rita, parents, and many siblings. She also has found peace. “Although we are unable to see you, you are always at our side. You have left us with wonderful memories, and your love continues to lead the road for us.
