Edward Corridon Obituary, Death Cause – The news that a close friend has passed away is never simple to deliver. On Sunday, April 10, Edward Corridon, Jr., ABLE Machine Tool Sales’ longstanding Partner and Vice President of Sales, passed away. Ed was always available, whether it was to offer a clever technological solution, a humorous quip, encouraging words, or just an ear to listen.

Ed always found a way to look on the bright side of things and make the most of the circumstances he was in. We shall miss having him around. Ed was a fantastic man who infused every discussion with an enthusiasm that was both intellectually stimulating and entertaining. We shall miss having him around. It was a privilege for us to know him.

After experiencing issues due to a brain aneurysm, 69-year-old resident of Monroeville passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Born June 11, 1953, in Wilmerding, PA. 1971 was the year he received his diploma from Serra Catholic High School in McKeesport. After enlisting in the Marine Corps, he served on active service for a total of nine months before being transferred to the Reserves for the subsequent four years.

After completing his training as a Tool and Die Maker at Westinghouse, Ed temporarily worked there after leaving his apprenticeship. After that, he took a job as a salesperson at the Brown and Zortman Machine Co. in Greentree. In addition, he worked at the Barney Machinery Co. in Pittsburgh, where he served as President from 1992 until 2002. After that, he worked for Able Machine Tool Company in Massachusetts

Where he held the position of vice president and was in charge of the sales department. He had been a member of the American Machine Tool Distributors Association for a significant amount of time. He took his retirement there in 2019, and the following year he moved back to Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Ed wed the woman who would become the love of his life, RuthAnn Behrer, in 1980. Unfortunately for him, they separated in 2004.

Edward is survived by his two sons, Edward Corridon, III (and his wife Sarah), and Jonathan Corridon (and his wife Allison); he was a valued brother to Jack, Thomas, Timothy (and his wife Sue), and Kathy; he was a devoted grandfather to Clara, Peter, Emma, Luke, and Isaiah Corridon; and he is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Edward passed away on April 15, 2019. His father, Edward Corridon, Sr., and his mother, Doris Corridon, both passed away before their son. Ed took great pleasure in spending his time in the garage, where he created works of woodworking art and painted.
