Dennis Penna Obituary, Death Cause – I regret to inform you that Brotherhood of the Popcorn member Dennis Penna has passed away. It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. Dennis, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, had a passion for classic automobiles, movies, and music. My friend, may you finally find rest. You will not be forgotten.
Because of his guidance, the activities that were offered and the lives of the students and residents were significantly altered.
In 1960, Dennis received his diploma from Gonzaga Prep. He then went on to earn his degrees from Gonzaga University in 1964 and Creighton University in 1968. His enthusiastic leadership, unwavering support, and kind nature will be sorely missed. Because of his astute judgment, generous nature, and capable leadership, he held a high level of respect and will be fondly remembered for a very long time. His wife Sandra Helen Macdonald, his two daughters Heidi and Tiffany, and his son-in-law Keith are the only people who will remember him after his passing.
A celebratory mass will be conducted at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 1:30 pm, in celebration of a life well lived and a man who was greatly cherished. Dennis will be remembered at this mass, which will be held in honor of a life well lived and a man who was highly cherished. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to Gonzaga University, Trinity School, or Morning Star Boys Ranch in Denny’s name will be gratefully accepted and acknowledged by the family.
Dennis was a member of the Spokane Polo Club, which he participated in for his enjoyment of the great outdoors, which included activities such as sailing his boat on Lake Pend Oreille, sailing with his pet dogs, and playing polo. He approached and participated in every aspect of his life with the same zeal and fervor that he had for everything else. He enjoyed every moment of his life to the fullest, always with a gleam in his eye and a touch of mischief, which was eagerly anticipated by everyone and greatly liked by all.
