Dan Fowlie Arizona Obituary, Death Cause – Totally and completely brokenhearted today. Both of the years that I served as Rodeo Queen, Dan Fowlie was our voice for the rodeo, and I remember how much I looked forward to hearing his humor and personality over the loud speakers. Dan was without a doubt one of the best rodeo personalities and announcers I’ve ever encountered, and I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with such an incredible individual.
The first time I met his wife was at our rodeo in February of this year. She has such a gentle spirit, and I pray that she is aware that she is not the only one who is experiencing loss. Because of this loss, our rodeo will never be the same, but he will never be overlooked or forgotten. Soar to great heights, Mr. Dan Fowlie. You are going to be greatly missed.
We at The Rodeo Alaska Family have suffered the loss of a True Friend and Brother, as well as the loss of a great human being to the rest of the world. Dan was a motivational figure for those involved in rodeo. Since the show’s very first episode, he has provided the narration for Rodeo Alaska. I have no doubt that I will run across him once more at that enormous stadium up in the clouds.
My heart aches for the woman he married and their children. We are here for you, Annette, and we love you and the kids very much. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Have a Peaceful Slumber Dan Fowlie.
