Colm Ryan Obituary, Death Cause – When we found out that our very good friend Colm Ryan had passed away, our hearts were broken, and we were left in a state of denial and despair. Colm was a devoted member of our modest running group, and he was always ready to lend a hand when it was needed. It was clear that he had a very big heart, as seen by the numerous charity events that he organized in the sincere desire to assist people.
To name just a few of Colm’s many accomplishments—2019 and 2021 running for the Irish Cancel Society and Danny, who he was very fond of—he made sure to run through Danny’s house on that day, and he always referred to Danny as his Hero. Colm has a long list of other accomplishments as well. We would go so far as to state that he did not miss a single John Treacy 10 mile Race.
Once he caught the running bug, he ran the Waterford half marathon, the Dublin City Marathon, and the Women’s mini marathon (he even dressed up as a woman just so he could run another event). This demonstrates that he was a true character, and even at that, there are only a small few of what he has achieved. & even at that, there are only a small few of what he has achieved. & even at that, there are only a small number.
Colm’s active commitment in the club was never overlooked, and he was always keeping us on the map with his Touraneena Runner’s Orange Vest. He will be truly missed here at Touraneena Runner’s, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. You could always count on him to zoom past you with a sarcastic smile or remark, but he was sure to be encouraging to anybody he passed.
