Buckhead Shooting, Leaves 3 Injured Near Phipps Plaza

Buckhead Shooting – The Atlanta Police Department is continuing their investigation into the incident that took place on Sunday afternoon immediately across the street from the Phipps Plaza retail area. The incident occurred directly in front of the Phipps Plaza shopping complex. The plaza is located smack dab in the midst of downtown Atlanta, which is in the state of Georgia. A little after three o’clock in the afternoon, according to the Atlanta Police Department, three people were shot at the intersection of Oak Valley Road NE and Peachtree Road NE.

All three victims were found dead at the scene. According to the reports, not a single one of the victims had lost consciousness, and when their bodies were found, all of them were reportedly still breathing. Along Peachtree Road next to Iron Hill Brewery, there are currently traffic delays and detours in place. These delays and detours are located near Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square. In the general area surrounding these two commercial areas, one can find the aforementioned problems.

The sequence of occurrences that led up to this incident is unknown at this time; however, members of the Atlanta Police Department have arrived at the location to begin their investigation into the matter. It is unknown whether any of the culprits have been apprehended or not, and there is no information available regarding the severity of the injuries that were sustained. The events that take place at this location are set against the appropriate backdrop provided by the Lenox Square neighborhood.
