Betsy was born on April 4, 1962, and she spent her childhood in Gastonia, North Carolina. Betsy Morrow, who earned her high school diploma from Gaston Day School in 1980 and her college degree from Salem College in 1984, is the daughter of Ernestine Spencer “Bootie” Morrow and Fred Torrence Morrow, Jr.
In 1985, she tied the knot with the man who would become the love of her life, Jonathan Russell Elliott of Burlington, North Carolina. Her husband, Jonathan Russell Elliott of Charlotte, their children Emily Elliott Robinson (Samuel) and Margaret Taft Elliott, as well as her mother, Ernestine Spencer Morrow, are among the people who are able to carry on her legacy. In addition to this, she leaves behind a large number of adoring nieces and nephews. She proceeded to lend her skills to other organizations, such as the Myers Park Presbyterian Church and Edward Jones, and she was currently working for Premier, Inc. as a Marketing and Corporate Communications Project Manager.
