Andrew Phillips Obituary, Death Cause – The news that our President, Andrew Phillips, has died away has left all of us here at the Sudbury Society in a state of deep and profound sorrow. Our condolences are with Andrew’s family at this time, and we will soon be providing additional commentary on the significant impact that he had on the community, both on a personal level and through the work that he did for the Society, the establishment of which he played a pivotal role in.
He will be sorely missed in our lives. His wife and children were the most important things in Andrew’s life. Babysitting their nieces and nephews was an activity that Andrew and Ashley looked forward to with great enthusiasm. He exuded an abundance of love and light, which he generously shared with everyone he came in contact with. Andrew enjoyed making other people laugh and enjoyed surprising his family with gifts, especially his wife and children.
who he thought deserved something extra special. He enjoyed spending time in the fresh air, going swimming with his kids, chopping wood, and lighting campfires. His loved ones will never forget his passion for hot tubs, which only became stronger with each new purchase. Andrew was a generous person who was also courteous, fun-loving, and entertaining.
He received a scholarship to play collegiate soccer at Spartanburg Methodist collegiate because of his dedication to the sport and his outstanding performance during his time spent in elementary, middle, and high school. Andrew worked for his father at the family business, which was called Phillip’s Scientific Incorporated and was located in Rock Hill.
At a later time, the family will hold a memorial service in the privacy of their home. Throughout his life, Andrew encouraged those around him to experience everything that life has to offer to the fullest, and his celebration of life will be just as he intended it to be.
