Wanda Gurganious Obituary, Wanda Gurganious Has Passed Away

Wanda Gurganious Obituary, Death Cause  – On March 23, 2023, Wanda May Gurganious passed away after a long and fulfilling life. She was the daughter of Thomas Marion Gomez and Martha Evaleen (Deese) Gomez, and she was born in Okeechobee, Florida, on September 9, 1941. Her parents’ names were Thomas Marion Gomez and Martha Evaleen (Deese) Gomez. She was her parents’ only kid and the only child they ever had.

Both Mrs. Gurganious’ infant daughter Gina Grace Gurganious and her husband of 42 years, James B. Gurganious, passed away before she did. Mrs. Gurganious was a widow. Gina Grace Gurganious was the only child that Mrs. Gurganious ever had. She is survived by her son, Glenn Gurganious (and his wife, Pam), of Okeechobee, Florida; daughters, Ginger Durham (and her husband, Tim), and Jamie Gurganious Pye, all of Okeechobee, Florida; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her brother, James Gomez, of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Gurganious. The 15th of April 2019 was the day she went away.

An active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation in the community of Okeechobee, where they have lived for the past sixty years and where they are involved in the activities of the local Kingdom Hall. She cherished the time she had to spend with her children and grandchildren, in addition to the time she got to spend with our community, since it gave her the chance to spread the gospel of the kingdom of God. Also, she enjoyed interacting with the people in our community.
