Ron Sarasin Obituary, Death Cause – As a result of hearing the news of Ron Sarasin’s passing, the United States Capitol Historical Society is in a state of profound grief. Ron Sarasin was our organization’s long-time leader and served in that capacity for many years. Ron was well-known for his commitment to ensuring that the history of the United States Capitol was maintained and preserved. During this trying time, we want his family to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
And that they are in our thoughts and that we are thinking about them. We also want them to know that we are thinking about them. In the course of Ron’s tenure as President and Chief Executive Officer of our company, he displayed an extraordinary capacity for overcoming obstacles, which made it possible for us to broaden both the nature of our work and the range of services we provide in order to appeal to a wider variety of customers.
As a result of Ron’s extraordinary capacity for overcoming obstacles, we were able to broaden both the nature of our work and the range of services we provide. We are thankful for Ron’s life, for the companionship he has provided for us, and for the legacy that he has left for all of us to go on in our own lives to continue in his footsteps. This legacy consists of the establishment of a traveling exhibit on the role that enslaved people played in the building of the Capitol.
As well as the creation of our signature “We the People Constitution Tour” and a civics education program. Additionally, the exhibit on the role that enslaved people played in the building of the Capitol can be found at the National Building Museum. In addition, the National Building Museum features an exhibit about the part that enslaved people performed in the construction of the Capitol Building. This display can be found there.
