We are so sorry for your loss. Everyone in his family and circle of friends had an intense affection for him. We are truly sorry for the loss that has been inflicted upon you. We ask that you join us in praying for them alongside the congregations of St. Willibrord and St. Thomas More, and we ask that you join us in praying for them together with us.

Fr. Robert Asseley fought a short but valiant struggle against cancer until he ultimately lost his fight against the sickness. Our deepest condolences go out to his adored mother Gloria, as well as to his wife Nancy, their six children Kristi, Ben, Justin, Bishara, and Janan, and Fedi, his grandchildren Matthew, Henry, and Anna, and all of his other loved ones.

Because of the undeniable zeal with which he pursued the dissemination of the Gospel in the city of Verdun and the profound dedication with which he embraced the task of missionary service, Fr. Robert will be remembered for all eternity. This is due to the fact that he worked as a missionary.
