Noah Kashefi Obituary, Death Cause – After a terrible incident that took place in Millerton, New York, Noah Kashefi, age 17, who had lived in the region all of his life, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Connecticut. Noah was a senior in the Webutuck Central School District located in Amenia, New York, and he anticipated graduating with the Senior Class of 2023. He was the son of Terry Lee Thompson of Poughkeepsie, New York, and Dayna Marie (Kain) Cook of Amenia, New York, and was born on July 20, 2005 in Sharon, Connecticut.
Beginning with the Webutuck Little League and continuing all the way through his time on the Webutuck High School varsity baseball team, Noah spent his whole life playing baseball. Also, he was a baseball player for the Town of Amenia as well as for the Town of Dover. Noah was a serious weight lifter who loved going to the gym and spent a lot of time there. He was particularly fond of the songs produced by the rapper and record producer Mac Miller.
Spending time with his cherished family and the many friends he had was his most favorite thing in the world. Noah is going to be remembered for the rest of time as having an incredible smile, infectious laughter, and the ability to give the largest hugs. He also lived his life on his own terms. He loved everyone, and after his untimely death, he continued to show that love by generously donating his organs to people who were in need of them. Everyone who knew him will mourn his passing and honor his memory for the rest of their lives.
Noah is survived by his mother and father, as well as his four siblings, Emily Thompson, Caleb Cook, Logan Thompson, and Sadie Thompson; his step-mother, Jennifer Thompson of Poughkeepsie, and his step-father, Jeffrey Cook of Canaan, Connecticut; his grandmother, Judy Thompson of Wassaic, New York; his grandparents, Jeffrey and Sharon Kain of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his step-grandparents, Mary and Charles Thomas of Dover Plains, New York; and Kenneth Thompson, Noah’s grandfather, passed away before the boy was born.
