Lawrence Atchison Death Cause – Lawrence R. “Larry,” who was 74 years old and had lived in Union all of his life, passed away on July 29, 2020. When he was born on September 21, 1945 in New London, Connecticut, his parents were P. Ernest and Helen (Koenig) Atchison. His birth took place in the city of New London. After graduating from Sterling High School, located in Sterling, Colorado, in 1963 and going on to serve with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Valley of Dayton. From 1990 to 1992, he also held the position of Past District Deputy Grand Master for the 2nd Masonic District of the Grand Lodge of Ohio. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the masons in the Dayton area. The year 2005 was the year when he was presented with the 33rd Degree. Larry was a devoted and enthusiastic participant in the activities of the Brookville Corvette Club. Classic automobiles were something that Larry had a passion for, so he began to collect them. Ernest and Helen Atchison, Larry Atchison’s parents, as well as his brother G. Bill Atchison and his sister Cherrilyn Peterson, all went away before he did. Larry Atchison is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Larry received his high school graduation from that institution. After he retired from his post as a detective with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, he became a member of the United States Secret Service Task Force and worked in that capacity for some time. He was a member of the organization for a total of 38 years, during which time he held the position of Past Master of Englewood Lodge 743, F&AM. In addition to this, he served as the Past Most Wise Master of the Dayton Chapter of Rose Croix, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.
