John Crowley Obituary, Death Cause – John M. Crowley, who lived from 1944 until 2023 Agawam It is with great sadness that the Crowley family shares the news that their cherished brother John M. Crowley passed away at his home on March 27, 2023. Although he was raised and received his education in Agawam, he was born in Springfield on May 1, 1944, to the late Cornelius and Florence Crowley.
John was an indispensable element of the Crowley Stables’ family management team, and he eagerly anticipated the opportunity to participate in the care of the horses. In addition to that, he enjoyed going for rides and taking in the splendor of the nature around him, particularly the animals. John also worked in the transportation industry as a driver for the “All for a Dollar” business at one point in his life.
He took immense satisfaction in his profession and undertook each assignment with a boundless amount of zeal. In his spare time, he enjoyed nothing more than getting behind the wheel of a fast car and reveling in the rush that comes with it. John was a highly outgoing and gregarious person who cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
He was always upbeat and optimistic about the prospect of having a wonderful time with them, so he eagerly anticipated every opportunity to spend time with them. Everyone whose life he touched will remember him with warmth and gratitude. Richard Crowley, Carol Crowley and her husband Roger Slate, Dennis Crowley and his wife Alice Crowley, and John’s brother-in-law Sandra Crowley are his living relatives. John is survived by his family. His nieces and nephews, as well as his close friends Dottie Haffler, Teri Day, and Joe Kelly, as well as his enormous extended family and countless more friends, will miss him terribly. Earl Crowley, who was his brother, passed away before he did.
