On Wednesday afternoon in Grafton, Massachusetts, a car crashed into a house. Three people, including a toddler, were harmed in the crash, according to the Grafton fire chief. It is reported that a car veered off Providence Road and wrecked a home not far from the crossroads with Millbury Street, less than half a mile from the Grafton Town Common.
Owner John McNamara asserted that he and his wife were enjoying coffee in the living room at the time of the collision. “The only sound was a thunderous crash. That blew up like a bomb “said McNamara. “As soon as I opened the door to the three-season patio, I saw the automobile parked there. Terrible.”
According to Fire Chief Eric Mathieu, there were three people in the car at the time of the crash, including a child in a car seat. According to Mathieu, witnesses removed the infant from the SUV before help arrived. He insisted that a woman who the police eventually determined to be the SUV’s driver had to be pulled out of the rear.
According to Mathieu, the person wasn’t technically imprisoned in the automobile; they were merely stranded inside the house. They had to take out a few of the chairs to stabilize the victim. The victim had to be placed on a backboard and carried out the back of the car.
According to the fire chief, the toddler, and the other two SUV occupants only suffered minor injuries. The car’s driver was brought to a local hospital for treatment, according to Grafton police.
