Billy Layton Obituary, Death Cause –Billy Ray Layton, who had been a resident of Washington, North Carolina, passed away on March 26, 2023 at the East Carolina University Medical Center in Greenville, which is also situated within the same state as Washington. He was 75 years old. Billy Ray Layton was surrounded by friends and relatives at the moment of his demise. Mr. Layton was born in Pitt County on June 16, 1947 to his late parents, Wesley Layton and Frances Merritt Layton.
Nina Carol Layton, his wife, is one of his survivors. Richard L. Layton of Greenville, Renea L. McGehee and her husband Gary of Biscoe, and Tanya L. McGrady of Albemarle are his three surviving children. He also leaves behind his wife, Tanya L. McGrady. In addition to this, he is survived by his ten grandchildren, who are as follows: Carley J. Williams, Hunter Pierce Layton, Caleb Scott Suggs, Leya Grace Suggs, Joshua David Layton, Hannah Diane Anderson, Jason Anderson, and Meghan Anderson.
His parents have since passed away. At this point, neither of his parents are still with us due to their passing. On May 2, 2015, he wed Nina Carol Rhodes. The ceremony proceeded as planned. Mr. Layton enjoyed playing the role of a DJ, listening to music from tropical beaches, and going fishing. He was a member of the Eastern North Carolina Shag Club for the entirety of his life. In addition to that, he was a member of the DJ Association in Myrtle Beach and the Staton House Fire Station for over 20 years combined.
