Andre Alabado Obituary, Death Cause – On Monday, the identity of the Hemet resident who was going through Coachella over the weekend when he was struck and killed by a train was disclosed. He was 23 years old. It was determined that his name was Andre Alabado by the Riverside County coroner’s office. On Sunday morning about 7:20 a.m., deputies responded to a complaint of a collision that involved a pedestrian and a train near the intersection of Dillon Road and Grapefruit Boulevard.
Brito-Gonzalez reported to CNS that they did not locate any apparent indication of foul play; consequently, the Coroner’s Bureau responded by calling in the Union Pacific Railroad Police to investigate the incident. “They could not discover any clear evidence of foul play,” she stated. “There have been no arrests made… and it is not believed that there are any suspects whose identities remain unknown at this time.”
The report indicated that the collision occurred. According to the public information officer for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez, who indicated that deputies went to the report of the crash, this is what happened. It was reported that the incident took place in the vicinity of the intersection where Dillon Road and Grapefruit Boulevard meet. Upon arrival, Alabado was found deceased at the site.
